Wilson's Creek

Over the weekend we made a last minute trip to Springfield, MO for the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Wilson's Creek. Gene and his buddies reenacted this 20 years ago on the actual site, now days they have to use a local farmer's land so the archeologists can continue their research on the actual battlefield. Lots of folks came to the 3 day event, we just did Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Gene's friend Doug had a horse that was feeling poorly so in order to keep an eye on him, he just brought him into his tent. Of course.

Now I'm getting ready to head west, looking forward to seeing some of you!
