So far so good with our first week of public school. Volleyball has given her entry to some nice girls (about 6) who are all in her International Baccalaureate program. We're figuring out our bus route from the driver who has a new stop each day. The real news here is the weather-- we've set record highs. Rachel's bus driver was quoted in the paper for saying the temperature in the bus was 115. It's been around 104 each day this week. In fact, school will close on Monday at noon because of the heat. After living a lifetime in So Cal, I now get why weather news matters. Love to you all... gotta go move the hose! :)
